Creative direction that drives market trends & captures the art of storytelling.

BECAUSE PRODUCTS ARE MORE THAN THE PHYSICAL ITEMS THEY REPRESENT.

1
CHARACTER IDEATION
Creating original characters with full personalities and personal backgrounds. Capturing their character in their designs allows them stand out, particularly if they have a unique aesthetic.

2
CHARACTER SKETCHES
Styling existing characters while maintaining the heart of the original IP. **This was a character exploration of Orange Bird for my digital sketchbook.

3
CHARACTER PRODUCTS
Products designed with the character's personality and history in mind. The beanies are of my original characters - Fraidy (black) and Frisky (white), where I asked the models to act like their cat counterparts.

MY STORY
Why am I a designer?
Art has always been a part of my life. One of my parents is a landscape painter and carpenter, so we always did projects together from the time I could pick up a crayon. In high school, I competed in art shows before transitioning to college. While my degree isn't in a creative field (Management Information Systems), I'd been running my art business on the side the entire time I'd been a student. I eventually fell into doing my art business full-time during the pandemic.
How did I start in mass production?
I dabbled in MOQ orders for easy-access items like acrylic keychains and stickers before I really dove into it with enamel pin manufacturing. My first trip to Disney World inspired me to start making my own pins, and it quickly became what I was known for!
Am I a professional because I'm self-taught?
Yes! Being self-taught doesn't mean I'm less skilled or experienced as someone with a creative degree. If anything, my business background enhances my product design skills; I consider business process aspects - because products are, at the end of the day, items to be sold by a business - that someone without a BBA or entrepreneurial experience wouldn't necessarily think of. Not only that, but I've taken plenty of masterclasses online to hone my skills.
What artists inspire me?
Mary Blair, Joey Chou, ArtbySeda, Meyoco, Pikaole and Alex Colville are amongst my favorites.
