Pengu's Pen Pal Service is inspired by the personal letters I exchange with my long-distance best friend; somehow, the monthly letters feel more meaningful than the texts we send each other every day.

Pengu's Pen Pal letters ship on the 15th of each month.

In this envelope, you will recieve...

In this envelope, you will receive:

  • A Personal Recipe — on a custom recipe card you can keep in a recipe box (or gift!). Don't worry, every recipe I craft for snail mail is beginner-friendly! These recipes are all taken from my personal baking binder. I send these to my friend, too, since she can't pilfer my kitchen anymore for snacks.
  • 5x7 Postcard — An original mini art print on matte cardstock that is ready to display or send on to your own pen pal.
  • A Large Sticker — Meant for interior use only, this die-cut sticker will have a sand-glitter finish.
  • Decoden Sticker Sheet — glossy "Heisei Retro" stickers for journaling.... or sticking where your maximalist heart desires!Please Note: These stickers are either drawn by me from scratch, or are manipulated Canva element photos (not graphics) that I then paint over for a signature uncanny look (which falls in line with Canva Pro's commercial license). This is the only time I utilize a paint-over technique in ANY of my work, and it is specifically done to match the aesthetic of "Heisei Retro"; please note that these sticker sheets are not sold individually and are only part of Pengu's Pen Pal Servicecombined rewards.
  • I Spy Color Card — A curated color swatch for photo-taking inspiration. My friend and I use these to take photo collages that match our color swatch with things we see in our day-to-day.
  • Fortune cookie Slip — A tiny paper fortune with a positive affirmation on one side and a creative journal prompt on the other side.
  • Letter With Scrapbook Pattern — A mass-letter I write each month to all of my Pen Pals, collectively. It will detail my inspiration, personal thoughts, life updates, things I learned or saw or experienced, etc... And on the flip side, a scrapbook paper pattern for junk journaling scraps (should you so choose)!
  • Decorated Envelope — Everything is tucked into a decorated envelope that's ready to brighten your mailbox (and your day)!

Guide To our

SNAIL MAIL CLUB

Shipping & Sign Up Deadlines

Sign Up:

  • Sign up between June 15 - July 14 for July's envelope.

The deadline for July's monthly mail signup is July 14 at 11:59pm Eastern.

Shipping:

  • All mail club letters are shipped with a stamp via USPS letter mail, which means there is no tracking.

Pengu's Pen Pal Service is available for US Domestic and International members.

Once you receive the email notification that your snail mail envelope has been stamped and dropped off at the post office, delivery can take an estimated 1-3 weeks for US members and upwards of a month for International members to receive.

Monthly Subscription Billing

Each month, you will be billed on the same day that you signed up.

Billing Example:

If you sign up for the snail mail club subscription on May 20th, you will be billed at the time of sign up and then on the 20th of each following month until you cancel your subscription.
